Sanctification

A quote from a book I am currently reading by Corrie Ten Boom.

“NOT I, BUT CHRIST ©️1983

“...sanctification is the showing forth of the indwelling Jesus Christ. It is a procedure of daily surrender: a practice in faith, a practice in obedience. A Christian living in the compromise of partial surrender has a really difficult life. Nobody can serve two masters. When you read this now, perhaps you are saying, “Yes, I see. But my faith is not very strong.” But you must not look at your faith ; you must look at the Lord.”

“God cleanses what He takes;
He empties what He cleanses;
He fills what He empties;
And He uses what He fills.”

Amen. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face. We must not look at ourselves , but at Jesus. He is strong. Sanctification is a work of God.

John 17:17-

 “Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth”.

Hebrews 10:14-

“For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.”

Strong's Definitions: ἁγιάζω hagiázō,hag-ee-ad'-zo; from G40; to make holy, i.e. (ceremonially) purify or consecrate; (mentally) to venerate:—hallow, be holy, sanctify.
