Longing For Solitude While Sipping Tea
The Private Life of Tasha Tudor I have recently picked up a book from the children’s author illustrator Tasha Tudor. I heard about the quiet simplicity of her life and was so drawn to dig deeper and find out more about her and the way she chose to live. I found myself flipping through the pages of her book longing for the quietness and solitude of her life that truly came across in her books. It just seems like nothing is rushed and there is sufficient time to really be involved with whatever needed to be done. Just like many other’s I live a busy life . One thing I always try to do is set aside some time in my day for a cup of tea. This is a time for me to get quiet. To catch up on some reading. To take a break from my household duties.
